Erin E. Patton earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Delaware Law School at Widener University. During law school, Ms. Patton participated in the Veterans Law Clinic, where she assisted disabled veterans in obtaining benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Neumann College, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Ms. Patton has practiced family law exclusively since being admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She focuses her practice solely on family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, child support, APL/spousal support, custody (including grandparents rights and in loco parentis rights), protection from abuse, adoption, termination of parental rights, and name changes.

Before entering law school, Ms. Patton worked as a legal assistant for a well-known law firm in Chester County, assisting several litigators in various practice areas. While working as a legal assistant, she decided to become an attorney and entered law school. While in law school, Ms. Patton clerked for both the Honorable Anthony A. Sarcione and the Honorable Katherine BL Platt, as well as for the Chester County Master’s Unit. While clerking for Judge Platt, Ms. Patton decided to dedicate her practice solely to family law.

Prior to joining Berman Voss, Ms. Patton worked with a respected Chester County family law practitioner and in a boutique law firm in West Chester.
