Biography

Karl J. Maehrer received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vermont School of Law in 1991, where he was a recipient of the Thomas M. Debevoise Moot Court Award for Legal Research and Oral Argument. He received his Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Maehrer has extended his outreach into the classroom as an Associate Professor of Paralegal Studies at Lehigh Carbon Community College and Kutztown University. Karl continues to educate future law students and legal assistants through courses in Contract and Corporate Law, Legal Writing, and Estates and Trusts. concentrates his practice in contract and estate law.

In addition to being affiliated with the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Mr. Maehrer is actively involved as a contributing member of the American Association for Paralegal Educators, the Pennsylvania State Educators Association, and the National Educators Association.
