Biography

Francis “Fritz” Moritz received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts from La Salle University. While in law school, he was a visiting student at Louisiana State University School of Law. In addition, he served as a law clerk for the Judges of Workers’ Compensation.

Mr. Moritz defends employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers’ compensation claims. His clients include national corporations and small, locally owned businesses, in the hospitality, commercial transportation and trucking, manufacturing, and retail industries, among others.

Since being admitted to the bar, Fritz has practiced in the area of workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Berman Voss, Fritz worked for multiple regional law firms. He also founded and managed The Moritz Law Group, where he defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims.

Over his legal career, Fritz has handled countless cases at the trial court level and successfully argued appeals before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Fritz was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2012 and again in 2013. Prior to that, he was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star.
