Thomas A. Berman, a founding principal of Berman Voss, received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Temple University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. He was a member of the Editorial Board of the Environmental Law and Technology Journal. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors, receiving a special distinction of ranking first in his major. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Berman concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation defense litigation. He practices before Workers’ Compensation Judges throughout eastern Pennsylvania, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

His clients include employers in the construction, entertainment, food services, healthcare, hospitality, professional sports, retail and transportation industries.

Mr. Berman presents seminars on workers’ compensation topics to insurance companies, third party administrators and employers, and counsels clients on mitigating exposure in workers’ compensation matters.

He has consistently been acknowledged by a panel of his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
